Junie’s Place is not only dedicated to serving families who are grieving, but also to increase public understanding of grief and loss. Through media interviews, published commentary, educational presentations, community partnerships, and advocacy efforts, we work to promote compassionate, grief-informed conversations in healthcare, workplaces, schools, and communities.
Our founder, Dr. Kristen Dillon, frequently speaks on topic including bereavement, child loss, grief-informed care, anticipatory grief and the long-term impact of grief on individuals and families. In doing so, Junie’s Place aims to reduce stigma, increase awareness, and advocate for meaningful support for those who are grieving.
